About Opening a Playhouse…

Do you want a GiGi's in your area? Great! Here are some of the 1st steps to take:

• Contact your local Down syndrome awareness and support groups - this is a collaborative effort!
• Gather at least 10 committed people to be your Board Members - they will need to devote 1 year of both time and resources
• Scout out a possible location - most Playhouses are between 1500-2500 sq. feet. Some locations have their location rent free - be sure to ask!!
